1. Why do I need to pay a monthly fee?

   The monthly fee pays for web hosting, which is required for any website on the web. It is like paying for rent on your apartment or any other space.

2. What is Web Hosting?

   Web Hosting means renting physical space on the internet for your website. Studio Cloud Nine will provide web spaces of varying sizes to you based on which web package you choose. In addition to providing space for your website on the internet, we will provide you with a number of email accounts (depending again on which web package you purchased).

3. How soon will my website be ready to be published?

   Stratus, Cirrus, and Nimbus websites can usually be ready to go live within 1-4 weeks (but can take longer depending on client turnaround)

4. Will I be able to edit my own website?

   Yes, all of our websites will be built using either Joomla or Wordpress, today's industry leaders in open source blogging and content management systems. Because they are free, we are able to pass on significant savings to you that you would have otherwise spent on web programmers and developers.

5. Will I receive training on how to update my website?

   Yes, once your site is completed, you will receive a training session on how to edit text, add blog posts, as well as upload photos, mp3s, and other files.

6. Can my site be capable of selling products and services?

   Yes. If you would like e-commerce capabilities on your website, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. Depending on your needs, extra fees may apply ($40/hr).

7. How will people contact me through my site?

   You may either have your email address directly linked on your website or you can utilize our "Email Us" contact form, at no extra charge. The contact form is useful for preventing internet spam that often occurs when you post email addresses on websites. Your clients will simply fill out the contact form on your website, click send, and you will receive their email at your email address.

8. How do I cancel my website and hosting package?

   All hosting packages require a 12-month commitment. If you would like to cancel sooner than 12 months, a $150 cancellation fee will apply. In order to cancel, please mail a written letter requesting cancellation to Studio Cloud Nine, 310 West End Ave. #9C, New York, NY 10023
