Studio Cloud Nine was founded in 2008 by musician and designer, Jennifer Taira, who sought to fill a growing need for affordable, high quality digital design for artists and entrepreneurs. In today's market, having an online presence is not just desirable, but necessary for success; however, getting a website seems to either cost thousands of dollars (or are free and generic). Realizing that today's creative professionals and small businesses need design at affordable prices, she started Studio Cloud Nine, creating all-in-one web/hosting packages that utilize the power of open-source applications such as joomla and wordpress, saving time on programming but leaving enough room for custom design, ultimately keeping prices low.

Studio Cloud Nine also offers graphic design and HTML e-mail design services, as well as music, photo, and video editing services.
